Ms Stacey E. Mitchell has a law practitioner for the past 20 years. She was appointed an Associate immediately out of law school with Frater, Ennis & Gordon having passed the Bar in 1992 and in 1999, she was elevated to partner. Concurrent to her newly appointed status, she was a part-time lecturer at the University Hospital School of Nursing lecturing on the Legal Aspects of Nursing.

In 2002 she exited Frater, Ennis & Gordon to pursue her growing interest in intellectual property law and joined Foga Daley & Co. Attorneys-at-Law and patent and trademark agents as partner. Ms Mitchell was head of the litigation department covering commercial law and litigation, copyright and trademarks law, conveyancing, and family law.

Two years later, Ms Mitchell joined the legal team of the Digicel Group. Her prior experience made her uniquely qualified for this position managing the legal section of the Legal and Regulatory Department of the combined Group and Jamaica Offices and their full portfolio of matters and cases, which included contracts, commercial law, conveyancing (sales, leases), civil litigation, copyright issues and trademark registration.

As of January 2011, Ms Mitchell was reunited with Frater, Ennis & Gordon and continues to practice.
