Foodies, Get Your Coins Together… Restaurant Week Is Back to Excite Your Tastebuds!

Restaurant Week is back and celebrates 16 years of staging the event in Jamaica. Food lovers can save the date, 11-20 November, to “eat in and dine out” at participating restaurants across the island.

Stephanie Scott founded the event previously known as Kingston Restaurant Week. Stephanie’s valuable contributions to the restaurant industry has left us with a legacy of uniting with our friends and loved ones over excellent food, creating memories that will last a lifetime, and developing a deeper appreciation for our culture and cuisine.

Restaurant Week gives food enthusiasts opportunities to restaurant hop, try out new eateries, and enjoy a variety of delicacies. The categories for this year are Delectable, Epicurean, Savoury, Morning Bites, Nyam and Scram, and Tasty.

The popular gastronomy event has won loyal patrons, sponsors, and a variety of participating restaurants over the years, making it a favourite among Jamaicans and visitors to the island. Restaurant Week provides a notable boost to the restaurant industry, giving chefs opportunities, allowing restaurants to thrive, and training maître ds, bartenders, servers, and others.

Sponsors of this year’s staging of Restaurant Week include Select Brands, Jamaica Observer, Fyah 105, Rainforest, TEF, TLN, Mastercard, Massy Distribution, Barilla, and Spur Tree Jamaica.

We are excited Restaurant Week is back and look forward to trying new restaurants, visiting old favourites, and creating new memories while eating in and dining out.
